Our Cattle

Our top priority is the happiness and well-being of our cows. We raise them on pasture throughout the year. During the warmer months, they are rotated to different pastures. In the winter, when grass is scarce, they are fed hay made from local sources. Occasionally, they receive organic, non-GMO grain as a treat. This allows us to bond with them and keep them well-trained, which makes moving and transporting them stress-free. Beef cows can be finished on a grain/grass diet upon request. Unlike feedlot-style finishing, our cows are never restricted to such conditions. They always have access to grass and hay and remain with the herd.
